Eric B. Epstein, Esq.

Life/Business/Relationship Coach & Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator

I bring a unique and integrative approach to help individuals, couples, families and business-people resolve disputes, mitigate conflict and work towards creating and achieving their goals – all through a collaborative approach uniquely derived from my extensive education, training and experience as a Florida and New York Licensed Attorney, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, the owner/operator of a private preschool with over $1mm in revenue and 22 employees, a Life/Relationship/Business Coach and as the father of a typical son and a daughter with developmental delays.

Seeking professional help is never easy. Deciding upon the professional you will trust to render that help and to be an effective and skillful guide/coach/mediator can be overwhelming. It is important to find someone who has lived through many different experiences in their life which, I believe, is necessary to develop knowledge, skill and, most importantly, perspective.

To be honest, you have many choices of professionals from whom to seek help and to willingly open yourself up to experiencing vulnerability, uncomfortability and insecurity on your path your path towards reaching your goals. I am uniquely qualified to help you during this time in your life because I, too, have gone through the difficult journey of exploring myself to the core and thereafter understanding who I am, who I want to become, and, most importantly, how to successfully navigate through challenges and overcome conflict – all to achieve my goals of having positive and satisfying personal and business relationships.

In 1991, I graduated from the New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. I then attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, and graduated in 1994 with a Juris Doctor Degree. I practiced law in New York from 1995-2008 as part of several firms and as a sole practitioner. After relocating with my family to Florida in 2008, I sat for and passed the Florida Bar Examination, and have been a Florida Licensed Attorney since 2010. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. Upon graduation in July 2018, I plan to extend my services to include individual, couples and family therapy.

I also help couples to peacefully mediate the issues surrounding their divorce so that they and their family can navigate the challenging path of divorce in a peaceful and least painless manner possible. I am deeply committed to non-litigious resolution of all dispute, whether legal or personal in nature.

I am married to Erica, who practices Marriage and Family Therapy at the Relationship Center of South Florida, and we have two children, a 13-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter with developmental disabilities and chronic medical conditions.

Because of my experience raising my daughter, and the impact it has had on my family relationships and on my wife and son, I understand the trauma and strain of raising a special-needs child. That is why I am happy to offer specialized services to any individual, couple or family who are coping with the reality, challenges and unpredictable emotions of raising or living with a child with developmental disabilities, special-needs or chronic medical conditions. In addition, Erica and I will be offering various support groups for moms, dads, parents and siblings of family members with special-needs or medical issues.
